In the wake of the COVID pandemic, our classes have been meeting outside, and we have learned a lot about what a great setting it is for our students. We have discovered that trees, bugs and birds are excellent subjects of investigation. We have now found a space that offers even more of these advantages – a beautiful 50-acre property we are calling "La Escuelita in the Trees”.

 

All of our students at our first school, Nuestra Escuelita, have been and will continue to visit La Escuelita in the Trees, but one classroom of children will meet there every day. Some activities will take place inside – and we’ll make sure everyone is comfortable – but most of our time will be spent outside. Our students will acquire all of the necessary pre-K skills, as they study the frogs, insects and environment around them.

 

Both of our sites will offer a dual-language immersion experience for our students. Both of our schools focus on nurturing children’s intellectual and social emotional skills. At La Escuelita in the Trees we’ll be playing and learning – in beautiful, peaceful woods.
