George has a MA in Global Studies from UNC Chapel Hill and a BA in Foreign Language & Literatures from East Carolina University and has worked in the nonprofit sector for five years.

As an Americorps Member with the Duke NC Literacy Corps, George is thrilled to learn from LEAP and assist the organization develop their tutoring program.
